Hi! I'm Shane.

I'm the creator, designer, and tailor behind Jonesea Wetsuits. Born and raised in Orange County, California, I have been surfing and competing for nearly 40 years. That experience gives me a deep understanding of exactly what a surfer needs from their gear.

I started Jonesea because I saw a void in the market for wetsuits that were functional, stylish, and built to last. I realized I had the knowledge and skill to build them the way I believed they should be made, so I decided to do it myself.

I personally hand cut, glue, stitch, and silkscreen every single wetsuit from start to finish in my California studio.

I mastered the art of sewing and pattern making through years in the industry. There are no assembly lines or mass production. My process relies on meticulous craftsmanship and an obsessive focus on fit and performance.

My custom Yamamoto limestone neoprene was created exclusively for Jonesea. Buttery soft, lightweight, and extremely flexible while delivering exceptional warmth.

The goal is simple: total freedom of movement without sacrificing the insulation surfers rely on in colder water.
